It was first featured on the band's self-titled 1975 album Fleetwood Mac. In an interview with Uncut, Stevie Nicks said of the album: "We just played everywhere and we sold that record. Originally Performed by Fleetwood Mac 'Landslide' is a song written by Stevie Nicks and performed by British-American music group Fleetwood Mac. If you are looking for a standard live album detailing either the whole or highlights of the set played on a tour with a typically enthusiastic audience front and centre then this is not the place to come. This lineup proved to be their most successful, however it was not the most stable, as Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks were close to breaking up when they joined.įleetwood Mac was released in July 1975. Though the band only experienced modest success immediately after the release, they were determined to promote their new album so toured it doggedly for several months. Fleetwood Macs first ever live album was largely recorded on the 'Tusk' tour but doesnt follow conventional live album logic.
